A PENARTH youngster is set to run, swim and cycle in aid of Sport Relief.
Nine-year-old Trixie Mai Williams will complete a two mile swim, a two mile run and a four mile bike ride over this weekend as part of the charity fundraiser.
Trixie, who raised more than £100 by taking part in a sponsored bike ride last Red Nose Day, will be swimming at the International Pool on Friday, as well as taking part in the Swimathon on the weekend.
Her dad Pete Williams, a member of Penarth and Dinas Runners, added that she would join him for a jog around Penarth on Saturday and they would find time to squeeze in a cycle somewhere over the weekend too.
Victoria Primary School pupil Trixie, who has already been sponsored by both teachers and friends, said:
"I'm challenging myself for Sport Relief 2014 to raise cash that will help to change lives, both here in the UK and abroad.
“If you could sponsor me, I’d be really grateful as your generosity really will help to make a world of difference to people living incredibly tough lives.
“From me, and on behalf of those you’ll help, thank you.”
