PUPILS from St Cyres' Hearing Resource Base (HRB) visited the Senedd in Cardiff Bay last month.
They were there to help promote a national campaign raising awareness amongst health professionals of the difficulties facing young deaf people when accessing services
The pupils were told to check their local GP's surgery to see if they have the new leaflet making communication easier for young patients with hearing difficulties.
The pupils also had an opportunity to discuss some more general points about how the Senedd operates with Assembly Member, Mark Isherwood.
Year 10 pupil Poppy Parritt also enjoyed a very successful visit to the South Wales Riding for the Disabled competition. She won two events and has now qualified for the national competition which will be held in Hartpury, Gloucestershire, in July.
