A PENARTH hair and beauty salon has been recognised by award winning ISA Training with a Working Partnership Gold Award.

Allen Sadler has worked with ISA Training for over 11 years and over this time has trained 14 hairdressing apprentices.

Key to this partnership is Terri Walton, the Salon Manger who has worked for salon owner Allen and his daughter Kirsty for more than 20 years, since she herself was a trainee. Terri works with Training Consultants from ISA Training to ensure that all of their apprentices are trained to the highest standards.

Allen said that it was an "honour" to be recognised by ISA Training.

"We are 100 per cent committed to developing our staff and share the same values as ISA Training when it comes to providing training for all of the staff at the salon," he said.

Berni Tyler, ISA’s Managing Director, added:

“The working Partnership Gold Award recognises salons who we have worked with for over 10 years and who have continuously shown commitment to developing their staff.

"The joint commitment shown by the Allen Saddler team and ISA’s trainers has given every apprentice the opportunity to make a successful career for themselves in this rewarding and vibrant profession."
