PENARTH'S Marie Curie Hospice is gearing up to host this year's Garden Party and Fete.

Taking place on Saturday, August 2, in the gardens at the hospice and Windsor Park overlooking the beautiful seafront, this is a fun filled day for the whole family.

There will be entertainment from the New Orleans Parade Band, as well as the usual face painting, children’s games, a tasty BBQ and hog roast, a raffle with the chance to win some great prizes and of course the usual stalls where you can pick up a bargain.

The gate will be opened at 12.30pm and it will cost £1 for adults who will then be entered into a lucky programme with the chance of winning a fantastic mystery prize.

Children are free to enter.

Donations of books, bric a brac and any unwanted gifts can be handed into the fundraising office at the hospice from the July 24 onwards.

Please call the fundraising office at the Hospice on 02920 426068 for more details.
