THE POLICE helicopter was despatched to Penarth during a vehicle pursuit in the early hours of the morning this week.
Residents of Hastings Avenue heard the helicopter circling low at around 2am on Tuesday morning, July 22.
A spokeswoman from South Wales Police said: "It needed use of the night sun (spotlight) and therefore they were a bit lower than normal, which generated bit more noise."
