TV PRESENTER Matt Johnson is set to open this year's annual Marie Curie Hospice Garden Party and Fete.

Taking place on Saturday, August 2, in the gardens at the Hospice on Bridgeman Road and Windsor Park overlooking the beautiful seafront, this is a fun-filled day for the whole family.

There will be entertainment from Mr P New Orleans Parade Band, as well as the usual face painting, children’s games, a tasty BBQ and hog roast, a raffle with the chance to win some great prizes, a special appearance by Peppa Pig and the usual stalls where you can pick up a bargain.

This year TV presenter Matt Johnson will be officially opening the event at 12.30pm.

Caerphilly-born Matt Johnson has presented across ITV’s This Morning, Good Morning Britain, The National Lottery, Radio 5 Live’s Fighting Talk, as well as fronting exclusive content for VUE Cinemas.

Entry into the garden party is £1 for adults who will then be entered into a lucky programme with the chance of winning a fantastic mystery prize. Children are free to enter.
