A LOCAL charity store is appealing for animal lovers to volunteer their time to help raise vital funds for sick and injured pets.

The UK’s leading vet charity, PDSA, is looking for new team members to come and help run the busy charity store on Windsor Road, Penarth.

Assistant manager Christopher Murphy, said: “A volunteer in our store will get to meet new people and add some valuable skills and experience to their CV. They will also be helping to raise much-needed funds for local pets in need. We are looking for people who are passionate about pets and can lend a hand, specifically to run the shop floor on Saturdays and Sundays, and to help us process stock on Tuesdays and Thursdays.”
