PENARTH Ageing Well Club mirror the friendly spirits of the commonwealth games and shake a tail feather or two with the club’s monthly Scottish dance session.
Scottish dance might not be everybody’s idea of fun but one thing everyone agrees on is the clubs, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. PAWC other weekly activities to help older people keep fit and always balance their meetings with something more relaxing and a bit different for the less physical. Last Wednesday following the Scottish dancing members were treated to a delightful musical medley of song from Nick Pratt a locally well-known actor and singer; accompanied by Jackie Dyke on keyboard.
Especially poignant at this time and enjoyed by all, was Nick and Jackie’s’ WW1 nostalgic and thought provoking sing-along.
