PENARTH police are appealing to the public to identify a man who was filmed on CCTV stealing a quantity of cheese from the Co-operative supermarket on Windsor Road.

The theft occurred at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, August 13, when the man place a number of packets of cheese into a bag and left the store without making payment.

Officers investigating the theft have published a CCTV image of the suspect and anyone who recognises the man is asked to contact South Wales Police.
