Fairoaks: Dinas Powys
A 73-year-old man has appeared at Cardiff Crown Court accused of murdering his neighbour with a hammer at their Dinas Powys sheltered housing complex.
Alan Rogers appeared at Cardiff Crown Court today accused of murdering 76-year-old Fred Hatch at Fairoaks sheltered accommodation.
After an incident last Wednesday (October 8) Mr Hatch was taken to the University Hospital of Wales, where he later died.
The defendant was remanded in custody until December.
