AN APPEAL has been launched for volunteers for Marie Curie's Great Daffodil Appeal.
The money raised will help people living with a terminal illness in Penarth and the Vale get the care they need.
Helen Mulhern, community fundraiser for the Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth, said: "We’re looking for people who can donate a couple of hours of their time to collect for Marie Curie this February and March. All they need to do is encourage people to give a donation in return for a daffodil pin.
"Collecting for the Great Daffodil Appeal will help Marie Curie Nurses care for someone with a terminal in the local Cardiff and Vale Hospice, so they can spend more time with the people they love."
She added: "If you're able to donate your time to help then please contact me on 02920 426068 or email Helen.mulhern@mariecurie.org.uk or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil."
