TV presenter and meteorologist, Siân Lloyd is calling on people in Wales to enter the Stroke Association’s Life After Stroke Awards. The awards recognise the achievements of everyone affected by stroke, from survivors to carers, volunteers and health professionals.
Siân, a long-time supporter of the Stroke Association and the Life After Stroke awards, said: “If you know someone who has been touched by stroke or has supported someone who has had a stroke, I urge you to nominate them for a Life After Stroke Award. Having a stroke can be a devastating experience but these awards are an inspiring celebration of courage. There are nearly 64,000 stroke survivors in Wales, this is your chance to pay tribute to them and show that together we can conquer stroke.”
The awards are sponsored by Toni&Guy with nominations open until January 30, 2015. For further information please visit www.stroke.org.uk/lasa.
