A TRAIN company is advising rugby fans of what to expect when the 6 Nations Wales v England international at the Millennium Stadium kicks off.
Arriva Trains Wales is urging supporters to plan ahead for the late kick-off at the Cardiff venue on Friday, February 6.
The match begins at 8.05pm, but trains are forecast to be busy to Cardiff all day especially late afternoon and evening.
Limited extra services and capacity will be available after the match due to late kick off.
Passengers are advised to return to Cardiff Central station directly after the match.
A station queuing system will be in place at Cardiff Central.
Cardiff Queen Street station will be closed after 9.20pm and there will be some timetable amendments to early morning ATW Valleys and Cardiff / Vale of Glamorgan services on Saturday, February 7.
More than 70,000 rugby fans are expected to descend on the city centre and customers not travelling to the rugby match are strongly advised to travel at alternative times if possible.
Due to the extra services being provided on Friday, February 6, there will be some amendments and cancellations to early morning Valleys and Cardiff / Vale of Glamorgan services on Saturday, February 7.
Amended timetables will be live in the booking system by the beginning of February.
