PENARTH building company Project One scooped two top industry gongs at the 12th Federation of Master Builders’ (FMB), Master Builder of the Year Awards last week.

The company walked away with the awards for best kitchen and best bathroom of the year at the top construction industry event which took place on Wednesday, February 18.

Charlie Luxton, architectural designer and TV personality recently seen in More4’s Building the Dream, presented the coveted prizes to Project One for the stunning work the team did on two homes, also in Penarth.

Project One faced many challenges during both projects but their hard work and dedication to their clients meant these were successfully circumvented with stunning results. In both instances the team at Project One created a flawless finish that their clients are proud to call their own.

Owner of the bathroom of the year, Brian Birtles said: “Our finished space functions perfectly and is an elegant addition to our home. Our visitors always remark at its beauty and we’re very proud to have a Project One bathroom.”

Having a kitchen that is the envy of all their friends delights Emma Graham said: “Dorian and Babette from Project One are very deserving of this recognition as they are so passionate about the space they create. I feel very lucky to have found such a fabulous team of builders."

The 12th Master Builder of the Year Awards, a nationwide search by the FMB to find the best builders in Britain, looked at the builders’ technical ability together with their customer service skills. The awards are unique, as every entrant must be nominated by a satisfied customer.
