THE Easter sunshine saw a record number of families taking part in the Easter Egg Trial at Cosmeston Lakes and Porthkerry Country Parks.
More than 1300 eager Easter egg hunters visited the two parks across the weekend to take part in the hunt.
Participants collected their maps, found the Easter egg posts and answered the 10 questions to complete the trail and claim their bag of chocolate goodies.
The Easter egg hunt trail, which has been held at Cosmeston Lakes and Porthkerry for the last four years, has become more and more successful each year.
Park ranger Aaron Jones said: “This year was such a success, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part. We look forward to holding the Easter trail again next year for all you egg hunters.”
