CAFE International's ten-year celebrations will be officially opened by the town mayor on Thursday, June 4.

The cafe was set up to meet the needs of internationals who are living and working in the area.

The cafe has links to language schools in Cardiff and the Vale as well as various au pair groups.

Cafe International provide an informal English language discussion group for all who wish, as well as several private language sessions for those who want during the week.

They put on games and sport and students from all over the South East are attracted by the prospect of the facilities and meeting new friends from across the globe.

There are also trips and occasional weekends away organised in their programme of events.

Pastoral support is on offer to help people settle, find jobs, move house and provide general advice.

It was held at the Kymin with fantastic views over the pier and the channel for the first eight years before relocating to its current venue of the Tabs Centre on Plassey Street.

All are welcome. Visit www.cafeinternational.org.uk or call Naomi on 07870206556 for more information.
