THIS years Richard Buckley memorial cup will be held at Cogan field on Sunday, August 30 starting at 2pm.
Teams from the Station Hotel and Coronation Club presented checks for £1020 to the fire fighters charity, ysgol Erwr Delyn and pancreatic cancer trust as a result of last years efforts at the Richard Buckley Memorial Cup.
The teams endured a multitude of dastardly tasks involving them taking on the 'pool of death', the relay of pain and worst of all the 'might of Paca'.
And organisers have decided to introduce several new hazards this year.
There will be fun and games, bouncy castle, refreshments , coconut shy and various stalls for all round family entertainment.
After the carnage, everyone is invited to the Station Hotel for buffet and karaoke.
Ian Buckley, station commander at Ely fire station is encouraging as many people to come down as possible saying: "It would be lush to see you all there."
