Police are appealing to establish how a man obtained cuts and bruises after a night out in Cardiff (29711844)
POLICE in Penarth are appealing for information following an incident which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, August 1.
Officers are trying to establish what happened after a man returned home with cuts and bruises to his face following an evening out in Cardiff.
The type of injuries sustained leads officers to suspect that the man was attacked, and CCTV enquiries suggest any incident would have occurred some time between 4.25am and 4.55am, as the victim walked along Penarth Road, in Cardiff, towards Penarth.
Anyone who was in the area at the time who may have noticed anything suspicious is urged to contact South Wales Police via 101 quoting reference *279628 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
