A SOCIAL group for people over the age of 50 is on the lookout for new members.
The ageing well club meet each Wednesday at Glyndwr Hall, Penarth for socialising, dance, exercise, demonstrations and talks, covering a wide selection of topics.
The aim is to provide this age group with a regular meeting place for the purpose of tackling isolation and loneliness, as well as helping to keep fit, meet others over refreshments, and a chat.
The charge is £3 per person, to cover entrance, tea and coffee and biscuits, plus a free raffle.
Meetings don't stop during holiday times except for two weeks over the Christmas period.
Regular activities to suit all abilities and tastes are organised, including visits from singers, comedians, musical cabarets, chocolate/and flower arranging, health and wellbeing talks and much more.
Our books are always open to new members who are encouraged to go along and give it a try.
