A RESIDENT in Penarth is appealing for information to find the owners of a small black cat.

Juliet Cullen discovered the cat in her garden around three weeks ago and originally resisted in feeding it. But after seeing the cat in an unhealthy state and with what appears to be a skin infection on its side started to provide temporary care.

The cat was taken to the vet and has since been treated for the infection and is beginning to look much healthier.

The semi-long haired cat, with a small white dot under her chin, usually keeps to the Wordsworth Avenue and Shakespeare Avenue area.

They are appealing for the original owner to come forward to take it in as the cat could be sleeping rough and with the recent cat poisonings.

Unfortunately the cat is not chipped but is very friendly.
