THE town mayor will hold two major events in Penarth this month in aid of her chosen charities.
A children’s day takes place between 11am-3pm on April 23.
The 'circus' themed family day will include a giant slide, crafts, dressing up, music, games, circus play sessions, mini golf, face painting and more.
Local businesses will be contributing to the event and entry is just £1 for children and adults go free.
Ceri Lambert Designs has sponsored and organised the event on behalf of the town council.
The charity dinner dance takes place on the same day at the masonic hall on Stanwell Road from 6.30pm
There will be live music, a magician, a charity auction and a raffle compered by ex-rugby star Xavier Rush plus a four course meal. Tickets are £40 per person.
All proceeds from the children’s day and dinner dance will go to the town mayor’s nominated charities which are the Teenage Cancer Trust Wales and Forget-me-Not Chorus.
