A CAR was flipped onto its roof on the road between Barry and Dinas Powys on Monday (May 16).
Police were called to the scene at around 9.55am where the red Toyota Auris was overturned in what police describe as a "one car incident."
The road was not closed but there were delays reported along the stretch of the A4055.
The Vale of Glamorgan Public Transport twitter account confirmed that the incident meant delays on the 89A, 89B, 93, 95, 303 and 304 services were possible.
No serious injuries were reported but one person was taken to University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff as a precaution.
A police spokesman said that they were awaiting vehicle recovery team to take the car away.
