TEENAGERS have been arrested following a late night robbery in Penarth.
The incident occurred on Cedar Way at around 10.30pm on Friday.
Ten youths are said to have assaulted two male teenagers, aged 14 and 16, before taking their bikes.
Officers investigating the incident have arrested three male youths, one aged 15 from Cyncoed in Cardiff, and two 16-year-olds from the Adamsdown and Grangetown areas of Cardiff, on suspicion of robbery.
They have all been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective sergeant Chris Warner of Barry CID said: "This was a very unusual incident in Penarth and the victims were very frightened.
"Three suspects were arrested shortly afterwards and the bicycles recovered.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have any information concerning this incident to contact us."
