AN APPEAL has been launched by police after a spate of "peculiar incidents" in Penarth
Officers in the town are trying to identify a man who was involved in an incident which occurred on Sunday, May 29
Two members of the public were walking along Bradford Place when they were approached by a man on a bike.
The man grabbed the female and shouted obscenities, making off on his bike turning right into Beach Lane.
It is the latest in a number of similar incidents which have occurred during the past couple of months.
The suspect, who police say claimed to be autistic and distressed, is described as being white, with black hair and had missing teeth.
Anyone who has seen this man, who witnesses any of the incidents, or who knows who it is, should contact south Wales Police via 101 quoting reference *019575 immediately or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
