EMERGENCY services were called to Clinton Road, Penarth this morning when a house undergoing renovation partly collapsed in on itself.
South Wales Fire and Rescue confirmed that at 10.43am this morning (Friday, June 10) a fire crew and rescue dog attended the scene after reports of a house partially collapsing.
The rear of the house has collapsed entirely and the roof is unsafe, a spokeswoman confirmed.
It was later confirmed that a coastguard search and two police rescue dogs assisted crews in searching the property and confirmed that there were no trapped persons.
Fire crews are now isolating gas and electricity supplies to ensure the site is safe.
The incident is ongoing.
