A YOUTH group is currently looking for new members to represent young people in Penarth.
Penarth Youth Action (PYA) is the youth council for the town and is looking to recruit from local secondary schools and youth organisations.
The group is made up of members aged 11-18
The youth council is a partnership project between the Vale Youth Service and Penarth Town Council and has seen success over the last few years in providing a forum for young people to express their views and take action to improve their town.
Being part of the group allows young people to develop a variety of skills that will help them in their future careers, grow in confidence and gain accredited qualifications that they can present on their university application forms and CVs.
The group takes part in a number of teambuilding events and activities.
