WARNINGS have been issued after a gang of youths reportedly threw stones at passing cars and blocked off a Penarth street.
The incident happened on Saturday (November 26) evening on Victoria Road.
On arrival, police conducted a search of the area but no youths were found and officers gave advice to those who had reported the incident.
Inspector Gary Smart said: "Tackling anti-social behaviour is a key priority for us, and I would like those involved in such activity that there is no place for it in Penarth.
"It can have a detrimental effect on the quality of life for local communities and can cause people to feel intimidated and fearful, in particular those who may be more vulnerable or elderly.
"I would urge anyone with any information or concerns about antisocial behaviour to contact us via 101."
