Charlotte Church says she has turned down the chance to sing at the inauguration
DINAS Powys resident Charlotte Church has turned down the chance to sing at the inauguration of Donald Trump as the president of the United States of America.
The star soprano said she was asked by president elect Donald Trump's staff to perform at the event in Washington DC later this month.
But she tweeted him today saying: "Your staff have asked me to sing at your inauguration.
"A simple Internet search would show I think you're a tyrant. Bye."
Mr Trump was elected the next president of the USA in November 2016.
