A NEW chairman has been elected by Llandough Community Council.

Cllr Dr Mo Misra was elected chairman for the 2017/18 year and cllr Pat Carreyett elected as vice-chairwoman at the recent annual meeting of the council.

They said they both look forward to leading the council over the year ahead and committing themselves to service for the community.

This was Roy Collier’s last meeting as the outgoing chairman following his decision not to seek re-election.

The council thanked him for his leadership in 2016/17 and for his years of service as a conscientious and loyal member of the council.

Cllr Dr. Misra looks forward to his role as chairman in what promises to be a very busy year ahead.
