VALE primary schools are being encouraged to become recycling heroes
The new nationwide home recycling challenge invites schools to encourage their pupils to help boost the nation’s recycling, while also being in with a chance to win prizes.
The Recycle for Wales and Wastebuster scheme aims to educate pupils about what can be recycled in their homes and the benefits of recycling.

Pupil receive a handy take home worksheet to work out what can be recycled from around their home and they can become the recycling champion in their family by highlighting items their family is not recycling.
The winning school will receive £1,000 cash and an assembly with Maddie Moate and Captain Busta.
Children entering the poster competition can win prizes for their family ranging from eco-science packs and Captain Busta Top Trumps to an iPad.
