The following case was heard at Cardiff and Vale Magistrates' Court sitting at Cardiff:
Rhys William Jenkins, aged 26, of Hayes Road, Sully, pleaded guilty to one count of driving a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit, one count of driving whilst disqualified, one count of driving without insurance, one count of possessing cocaine and one count of taking a vehicle without consent after which an accident occurred causing damage. He was sentence to 16 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and ordered to pay 120 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £115 surcharge.
