THE opening phase of the 'Pink Car Rally' is set to get underway this weekend, starting in Penarth.
The event, which is hoping to raise funds for the Little Princess Trust – a charity which provides wigs to children who have lost hair through cancer treatments and other illnesses, begins at Tesco in Penarth at 9:30am on Saturday.
The procession then moves on to Ty Hafan for a private visit at 10:15am, before departing Penarth shortly after 11am.
Taking place over two days, the 'South2NorthWales' event will see the cars head west towards Haverfordwest and Aberystwyth, before turning north and coming to an end at Llandudno.
