THE latest photograph to feature in our From The Archives series focuses on the construction of a new road.
Construction began on the new access road to the Penarth Docks development site in the 1990s.
The old Penarth Dock was closed in 1963 and redeveloped for housing and the marina.
The new lock gates at the seaward entrance was built in 1986 and the new marina opened the year later.
