MARIE Curie's Penarth hospice has been given a fresh boost thanks to a series of fundraising events put on by the current Miss Vale of Glamorgan.
In a recent event hosted at the Salem Baptist Church Christmas Fair, Sophie Norris, 22, from Barry, sold Christmas lollipops on behalf of the hospice and raised £50 towards her chosen charity.
Since winning her Miss Vale of Glamorgan title in April this year, Miss Norris has so far raised around £450 in aid of the Marie Curie hospice and intends to continue hosting further events in the future, raising vital funds for terminally unwell people and their families.
