GRIFFIN Books and All Saints Church will be co-hosting a talk this Sunday, December 3, on Wales' role in the battle for the skies during the First World War.

Tickets are still available for the talk, which is being delivered by author Dr Jonathan Hicks in All Saints Church at 2.30pm.

'Wales and the First Air War 1914-18', based on Dr Hicks' latest book, will provide an overview of Welsh involvement in the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Naval Air Service and Royal Air Force during the First World War. Topics will include the casualties, bravery awards and stories of famous Welsh flying aces.
