AN ART history lecture with a festive twist is being hosted next month at St. Augustine's Parish Hall.

The event will feature a talk from art history lecturer Stella Lyons, looking into some of the magical evocations of the winter season, including works by Bruegel, Monet, Caspar David Friedrich and Andrew Wyeth.

Taking place on Thursday, December 7, Ms Lyons' talk is set to begin at 6pm and will conclude at 8pm. In true festive spirit, mince pies and mulled wine will be on offer to those attending.
