HUNDREDS of pounds worth of jewellery was stolen in a burglary in Dinas Powys yesterday (January 4)
Police are appealing for information after the house on Stacey Road was targeted sometime between 11.45am and 1.30pm, with thieves smashing a patio door at the back of the house to gain entry, before helping themselves to hundreds of pounds worth of jewellery.
Among the items stolen were two black pearl necklaces, a white pearl necklace, a gold watch, two brooches featuring a woman’s face, and silver rectangle cufflinks with a Mont Blanc star crest.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the time of the incident, or who is offered any items they suspect might be stolen for sale, should contact 101, quoting occurrence 1800004482.
