A BROADCASTING stalwart is set to take to the stage in Penarth’s Paget Rooms this month.

Owen Money’s Juke Box Heroes II Tour will arrive in town on Saturday, March 31.

Following the huge success of Owen Money’s Jukebox Heroes in 2016, Owen Money is back with another talent packed live show featuring the music of his popular weekend Radio shows on BBC Wales; and of course his unique style of comedy and ‘Welsh Whit’.

Joining Owen on stage is his fantastic band The Travelling Wrinklies who will accompany the tour featuring icons of the 60’s and 70’s; bringing the music and passion of their heroes alive.

Starting with the adorable Sami Broad as the unforgettable Karen Carpenter, David Rhys – Morris then plays tribute to the legend that is Neil Sedaka.

The powerful and distinctive voice of Frankie Valli is portrayed by Alex John and with a little help the sounds of the Four Seasons are not forgotten.

Finally, the sensational Li Harding is the ‘one and only’ Dame Shirley Bassey who will undoubtedly ‘get this party started.

The show is on from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and tickets cost £15 from Ticketsource.
