TRINITY Methodist Church in Penarth are set to host a retelling of 'the Passion' – the final days in the life of Jesus Christ – within the church for the first time.
'The People's Passion' will be a dramatic representation of the trial, suffering and death of Christ, and will re-enact the events that occurred between Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.
Created by the 'Riding Lights Theatre Company', The People’s Passion features a presenter, actors, musicians and technicians and relies upon audience participation, background music and a selection of hymns interspersed with the action.
An augmented choir from local churches will also sing before the service to set the scene for the performance.
Members of the public are invited to attend the event, which takes place on Sunday, March 25 at 6pm in Trinity Methodist Church, Penarth.
