ST LAWRENCE Church in Lavernock will be hosting a special art exhibition at the church in celebration of Easter weekend.

Welsh artist Julie 'Nin' Lyddon, who has previously displayed her works at the Welsh Assembly and the Women's Art Association, will be presenting her latest exhibition in the church between Good Friday and Easter Monday.

No stranger to the area, Ms Lyddon's work was selected as inspiration for pupils at Westbourne Junior School's art exhibition in 2015 and she was also chosen as a judge at Beechwood College’s ‘Create’ art competition the same year.

Her current exhibition is based around the fitting theme of angels, and will be available to view over the Easter period between 11am and 4pm each day. Entry is free and refreshments will be available

The former church will also be celebrating Easter with a traditional service at 3pm on Sunday, April 1. Parking is available on the left hand side of Fort Road.
