THE launch event for a Penarth author's latest novel is taking place later this month.

Five other local writers will also be coming together to join author Jan Marsh ahead of the release of her new book, 'Love in the Limelight', with all members of the group set to discuss their published works.

Guests will be invited to meet the writers and join them in an informal discussion about their books.

Love in the Limelight is Ms Marsh's first historical novel, and follows the life and loves of actress Eliza Grahame and the intrigues and rivalries of the famous Drury Lane Theatre.

She is being joined at the event by Robert Darke, author of the thriller 'The Accidental Courier', 'Who is Sarah Lawson?' writer KJ Rabane and Ron Powell, author of the books 'Wings over Summer' and 'Wings over Malta'.

Fantasy fiction writer and poet Iona Jenkins and children's writer Pam Cockerill will also be discussing their numerous works.

The event takes place at Dotty Pots, Herbert Terrace, Penarth on Thursday, April 19 and begins at 7pm.

All of the authors' works will be on sale at the event.
