Dinas Powys CC get set for start of 131st season of cricket!

A WARM welcome awaits current players and newcomers to the Dinas Powys Cricket Club winter nets held every Sunday at Barry Leisure Centre from 6-8pm.

The club enters its 131st season in rude health, the 2nd XI having won their league last summer and the 1st XI enjoying a promising opening campaign in their Glamorgan and Monmouthshire Division.

The club has a good Sunday fixture list and a league title winning Midweek XI. In addition, the village club fielded a 3rd XI for the first time last summer.

So, irrespective of ability (and age), the club should offer you cricket at your individual level.

The Sunday nets include support from qualified coaches and the use of a bowling machine to help get rid of the cobwebs and get you into the groove.
