PENARTH RFC U12s 33pts
BEDDAU U12s 0
THE Penarth Rugby Club U12s continued their winning ways with a comprehensive cup success against Beddau.
In a fantastic game of rugby, Evan 'Lloydee' Lloyd made a storming start with two breakaway tries in his own unstoppable way, and this was followed by a well constructed team try which ended with Rhys Newman driving over. Penarth continued to dominate and 'Lloydee' completed has hat-trick of tries before the break.
With Penarth playing up the slope in the second half, the game was more competitive, and there was some determined tackling from both sides. The home team stayed on top with hard rucking and counter rucking, there were some lovely runs by Dan Hayes and Fin Evans and Ryan Allen held the back line together when the pressure was on. A lovely individual try by Aled Rhys following a penalty completed the scoring.
