THE Sully Centurions Cricket Club start preparations for the coming season with indoor net training sessions at the Colcot Sports Centre, Barry, from next Thursday (8.30-9.30pm).

All members are asked to make a big effort to attend.

Centurions, whose senior side have been allocated Glamorgan pace bowler Mike Reed for the summer, are looking for new players for the 2014 season for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd XIs and anyone interested, and unable to attend nets, is asked to contact secretary Mick Fisher on 01446-621520 or 07709678251 for more information. Those interested can also visit the Centurions website - www.sullycenturions.com

Junior nets will also be held at the sports centre on a date to be confirmed.

Social secretary Terry Williams has organised a quiz night at the Seashore Grill on March 28, starting at 7.30pm, with prizes for the winners.

Centurions are seeking sponsors - ie, for match days, match balls, programmes and ground advertising - and further information can be obtained from Dave Sylvester on 01446-734762 (day) or 02920530896 (evening).
