HOME side Llandough Legion requested a Penarth Darts League double points game against RAFA A after a scheduled clash earlier in the season had been cancelled.

With this agreed, Legion started well to take the first pairs 2-0 - Martin hitting 140 and Davie x16 and x3. Paul matched Martin’s 140 and partner Paddy hit x15 and x16 to take the second pairs 2-0 for RAFA. The singles went 3-1 in favour of the RAFA, who took the first three through Charlie 100 x7, Ian 100 x20 and Paul 100 x1. Davie was the the Legion's sole winner with 100 x20. RAFA outscored the Legion in the team game, with Charlie and Ian both scoring tons and Paul taking the six points in

nailing double top. The final score was 16-6 to RAFA.

Lion enjoyed a good 8-3 home over the Cross Keys, who struck first to take the pairs 2-0, with Peter x10 and Mathonwy x20. Steve x10 and Mike x4 took the second pairs for the Lion, who went up a gear in taking all three singles through Rob x1, Paul 140 140 x1 and Mike 100 x20. Kevin took the only singles win for the Keys with 100 x13, with scores from Steve 100 and Peter 120. Lion took the team game when Nathan hit 100 x4 to take the three points and seal the win.

Hosts RAFA B won 7-5 against Station, with Gary 121 and Anthony x20,100 x4 taking the first pairs for the former. Paul 121 x4 100 and Vic x9 took the next pairs for the Station, with Lee 100 100 x5 taking a leg for RAFA. Station took the first three singles through Paul x20, Russ x20 and Mitch x12, with Lee 140 x10 being the only RAFA winner. Gary hit 121 so, with Station leading 5-4, it was all to play for in the team game which eventually went the way of RAFA, with Lee scoring 100 x1 and Anthony 100 to take the three points.

The Coronation team put up a good fight against strong opposition from the Ex’s but eventually lost 8-4. Nick and Bill took the first pairs for the Coro with the latter hitting 121 x6 and 132 x18. Steve hit 140 123 for the Ex’s, who took the second pairs with Paul hitting 100 130. Jack had a 100 out shot on x16. Scoirng well, Stuart took a point for the Coro with 112, 100 100 x20, and Ex’s took three singles when Jack hit x18, Paul 100 100 and a 120 out shot on x20 and John 100 x5. Nick was the sole Coro winner hitting x20, Ex’s outscored Coro in the team game, with Jack 100, Paul 100 140 and John hitting the important x1 to take the three points.
