WITH A first friendly only six weeks away, Sully Cricket Club - the Spartans - has started indoor net practice at Cardiff's Swalec Stadium every Thursday from 7.15pm.
Sully start with an away game at Tondu on April 6 and follow up with a home friendly at Burnham Avenue on April 13.Two more away games follow, with a final friendly against Barry Wanderers on Sunday, April 27.
The newly promoted Sully 1st X1 begin their league season with a stern test against St Fagans.
The club has formed a Saturday 2nd X1 which will play friendlies this season in readiness for league cricket in 2015.
As with last season, midweek and Sunday teams will play a mixture of league, cup and friendly matches.
Indeed, it looks like being a busy summer.
