A FORMER Welsh international player has launched a new sports opportunity for Vale youngsters.
Funding of £600 from the Vale Community Chest Fund is supporting the Vale Table Tennis Academy being run by Barry man George Evans.
Weekly sessions for juniors are run every Wednesday at Barry's Cwm Talwg Community Centre from 6.30-8pm.
George said: "We are delighted to offer children the unique opportunity to learn and develop their table tennis skills in a fun and safe environment.”
New members of all ages and abilities are welcome.
