AFTER being inactive since December 14 because of the poor weather and state of pitches, Cogan U8s returned to Vale Junior Soccer League action on Saturday at Windmill Playing Fields, Llantwit Major.
They put all their training into practice and had a great morning with lots of smiling faces and muddy kits.
A club spokeswoman said three months was a long time for anyone not to play football and funding was needed for more all weather pitches across the Vale of Glamorgan.
