YOUNGSTERS, including a number from the Vale of Glamorgan, have taken part in a unique sporting opportunity.

Delivered by PG10 Coaching and Little Stars, a festival involving rugby and football coaching was based at Cardiff Arms Park, and children, aged four to seven, were introduced to both sports with the aim of developing their ability, balance, co-ordination and speed.

Football and rugby sessions are being delivered to benefit grassroots sport and increase participation and standards in a fun and safe environment.

Following the festival, children have the opportunity to join a PG10 Tiny Tots football programme and/or attend Little Stars rugby sessions.

Peter Griffiths, of PG10, said: "The key aim of the festival was for children to be introduced to both sports and enjoy themselves and, as children grow up, they are offered the chance to join the weekly development centre."

The next festival at Cardiff Arms Park is on Sunday, June 8, from 10am-3pm
