A TOTAL of 192 players featured in the Glamorganshire Golf Club's April Monthly Medal, with scoring - standard scratch being 72 - once again proving difficult in windy conditions.
The winner was Mark Desmond (nett score 69) on count back from Stephen Morris. Third place went to Tom Maunder (nett 70) and fourth was Mathew Edwards (also nett 70).
Club champion Mark Lewis (74) returned the best gross score.
The result was: 1, M Desmond, 83-14-69 (on count back); 2, S Morris, 82-13-69; 3, T Maunder, 75-5-70; 4, M Edwards, 80-10-70.
The next club competition is the Easter Cup stableford on Saturday, April 19.
